Algood Police have charged Travis Geer with drug possession with intent, after finding drugs and cash during a traffic stop on Monday.
At approximately 2 a.m. on November 18th, Algood Police Officer Joseph Harsh conducted a traffic stop on West Main St for a registration violation. Officer Harsh made contact with the driver, identified as Travis Geer. During a consensual search of his person, Mr. Geer was found to be in possession of approximately 13 grams of a white, powdery substance, believed to be cocaine, in several small bags. Mr. Geer was also found to be in possession of several pills that have not been identified.

Officer Harsh charged Mr. Geer with Possession of a Controlled Substance for Resale and transported him to the Putnam County Detention Center. The white, powdery substance and additional paraphernalia found were confiscated as evidence. A large amount of cash was seized from Mr. Geer’s person as proceeds from illegal drug sales. The vehicle Mr. Geer was driving was also seized as a conveyance of drugs/narcotics.
